The following Networks are core to IMHPP’s knowledge-building mission. Each Network is made up of individuals with lived, professional, academic or strategic experience in their respective field.
Ranging from law and public health to housing, education and occupational wellbeing. These members collaborate to set research agendas, contribute to policy development, and shape cross-sector responses to pressing mental health challenges.
Networks meet quarterly and feed into IMHPP’s wider work through publications, Special Interest Groups, and advisory input. We welcome expressions of interest from those who share our commitment to ethical, inclusive reform.
This network explores the legal dimensions of mental health systems, including capacity law, safeguarding, human rights and tribunal processes.
Members contribute to policy reform, legal briefings and ethical governance frameworks that protect vulnerable populations and uphold justice.
Focused on the intersection of mental health and housing insecurity, this network addresses supported accommodation, homelessness prevention, and structural exclusion.
It brings together practitioners, researchers, and advocates working in the housing industry to design policy responses and inclusive housing models.
This network examines care pathways, commissioning ethics, safeguarding practices and service integration across health and social care. Members working in this industry collaborate on toolkits, policy reviews and strategic guidance for improving frontline delivery and systemic accountability.
Dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for children and young people, this network of education professionals explores trauma-informed education, school-based interventions, and youth suicide prevention.
It supports cross-sector collaboration between educators, clinicians and policy leads.
This network of Public Health professionals leads on population-level strategies, suicide epidemiology and health equity.
Members contribute to research agendas, policy observatories and public health intelligence that inform national and local mental health planning.
Focusing on workplace wellbeing, this network promotes trauma-aware HR practices, ethical leadership and mental health inclusion across sectors.
It supports organisations in designing psychologically safe environments and responsive workforce policies.
The IMHPP offers five levels of Network membership to reflect the diverse contributions of individuals across academia, practice, lived experience and strategic leadership. Each tier supports our mission to reform mental health systems through collaborative research, policy development and ethical practice.
For students seeking early exposure to mental health policy and systems reform. This tier offers developmental opportunities and access to IMHPP’s knowledge base.
